Attempting to find order in chaos.....

by constantly reinventing my life! (though I modified it.....can anyone guess who I quoted here?) We are in a constant transition it feels like. Does anyone know what normal is? Can someone give me an idea? We love moving(obviously) and experiencing new places and new people too but come on already! Right? Our family and friends must think we are crazy! At least we can say we are adventurous.......

So, onto the latest. We are in Portland now, I am working back at my old job. Dustin may be working back at his old job soon too. For now, he is playing Mr. Mom and loving it. He seems to think that he gets to just play all day though.....hmmmm. However, he made my lunch this morning so he may be catching on! There is hope for that man yet! (Love you babe...hehehe) We are hoping that things become permanent soon so we can get back to our life and stop moving around!

Emma is growing like a weed and getting smarter by the day....sigh. We had her pictures done at Bliss again and you can see those below. Whitney made a slide show for us and I cried through the whole thing cause I swear I can vividly remember Emma's first session with Whitney. I absolutely cannot believe she is almost 2.

Since we have been home, Grandma and Grandpa have loved having Em around and Emma is quite fond of Papa! She actually wakes up in the middle of the night and will sit straight up in bed yelling PAPA....PAPA, and then falls over and passes out again. She must be having dreams about playing with Papa. So sweet. Payton is Emma's other great love since we have been home. She calls her Paypay. Watching them play makes me tear up some days. They greet each other with a long hug and then kisses and it is the cutest thing I have EVER seen. I should have known they would be close though, Payton has anticipated playing with and loving Emma since I was pregnant. She used to talk to her through my belly button. No need for me to have more when we already have Payton!

Anyway, things are crazy, and busy, but good. I hope everyone is doing well. I will post pictures soon. I just figured it was WAY past time for an update.

One last quote that helps me be at ease with my life right now.......

Chaos is the score upon which reality is written.
Henry Miller
