The Waddle Family: Lots of new stuff to show and tell!!

I know, I know, it took me long enough, right? I'm sorry. We have been really busy bees let me tell ya! Since our last post, we moved again into our permanent residence over here. We were busy getting all settled when we left for Florida on vaca and to see Grandma and Papa. It was a really great trip. Nice and relaxing and we spent good quality time with the family which is always important! Then as soon as we got home we were busy getting settled again. Which remains a work in progress to say the least.

Dustin just got his first riding lawn mower and is now a grass cuttin fool! He loves it and you can totally tell when he is out circling the yard.

Emma is officially eating her first foods. She started out on rice cereal a few weeks ago and we managed to throw in some pea's successfully last week. She really liked them too. YES!!! It is all those small victories that get you the most excited sometimes. I can't believe that just came out of my mouth but it's true! We are now working on sleeping in her crib. Another work in progress! It is harder on me than it is on her though. I'll admit that I am a total sucker!

We are planning a trip to the Couve in early August for a visit. We already have everyday booked with things to do I swear! We have 2 weddings to attend and Dustin is in one of them. We have Emma's photo shoot with Whitney at Bliss Studio. We also would really like to go on a date while we are home so we have a babysitter! Oh and the oh so exciting BBQ at Michelle's that I am REALLY looking forward to. I have to admit, I truly miss my friends from home and all the other new mommy's I had surrounding me there. Those are things that take time to establish over here so I have to give it time! In the meantime though, if you guys are reading this, I miss all of you! I miss my mom too honestly........even though I just saw her. And the person I miss most is Payton. I can't wait to come home and scoop her up for a big hug!
